How to Measure Your Dog's Neck: Step-by-Step

Step 1: Prepare Your Dog

Remove any existing collar. If your dog has long or thick fur, part it to expose the skin for a more accurate measurement. Don't rely on the size of an existing collar; collar sizing varies by brand and style, and fit can change as your dog grows or changes weight. Always measure the neck directly for the most accurate result.

Step 2: Measure the Neck
