Taking care of your Biothane gear is easy! Just follow these simple tips:

• Handwash your Biothane gear with mild soap and water, then dry it with a soft cloth.

• Brass hardware will develop a patina (tarnish) over time, but you can minimize this by regularly polishing and cleaning it.

• Don't worry if nickel-plated and matte black hardware shows wear and tear over time – it's normal and won't affect the integrity of the hardware. To keep nickel-plated and matte black hardware in great shape, wash them with mild soap and water, and dry them thoroughly after use, especially if they've been in water, like salt water, to prevent rusting.

BioThane is made with a Polymer coated webbing. The Polymer coating makes this webbing a great leather alternative, as it is more durable, waterproof, and easy to clean. It rinses clean in seconds, will not mold or mildew, and will not absorb odors.
